The babies had their first real romp out in their pen today. The were not very happy about leaving their laundry basket, but quickly realized how much fun leaves could be. They romped and chewed on the leaves, dug in the dirt and basked in the sunshine.
They are eating and drinking like big puppies now. I am still letting Genie in 2 times a day for a drink of momma's milk, but they love real puppy food.
Personalities?
Zodiac is still the top dog in the pack, although her kick butt attitude comes and goes.
Seiko is BUSY! if she hears a noise she runs to investigate it.
Casio, the most reserved of the bunch but that doesnt say much. It really means she takes a little longer to decide to do things but then is full force like everyone else.
Pulsar is the toughest boy, loudest boy and overally most handful of the boys.
Tag is independent, exploring on his own. He isnt needy or whiney, but is happy to come check you out and climb in your lap if he feels like it.
Rolex is handsome, and reminds me of my Monster. He has become very full of himself and is a mad tugger.
Bulova is the most loving boy. His tail doesnt stop wagging if youtalk to him or snuggle with him. He has it in him to kick some puppy butt if needed too.
All the pups play with toys, explore, eat, sleep, poop and are great puppies. Not a dud or pet grade puppy in the mix. All will be nice performance dogs.

New location
Since the pups are starting to get bigger and more mobil, we moved them into the guest bedroom. We put down our $5.00 piece of linoleum (thanks Re-store/Habitat) on the floor, the xpen and the crate. The babies dont care about coming out yet, but it will let mom get out and away from them if she wants. Pretty soon they will be out and exploring then new digs. Now that some of you are planning on coming to visit the babies, you will have an easy place to hang out and interact with them, in the nice warm house. I cant seem to upload the puppy video so if you havent seen it- its on my facebook page.

2 weeks old
Our litter of Border staffys from Genie/Tex are now 2 weeks old. This Blog is to keep interested parties current on their progress without having to drown you in Facebook posts.
So here we go. The litter was named using a WATCH theme.
Their eyes are open and they are getting mobile. Although not using their rear ends yet they are pulling themselves along at a pretty quick pace when it is feeding time. Yesterday I wormed them and Genie. For the last couple days I have been doing the Early Neurological Stimulation to get your puppies way ahead of the curve. The literature says it stimulates their nervous system with things they wouldn't normally experience at this point, get the ball rolling so to speak, and also results in them staying calmer in stressful situations later in life. And since all these puppies will be starting on the path to exciting performance careers, we want them READY. All of the puppies got to watch Bones with us tonight. Steve and I took a puppy each and held them and snuggled with them, after about 15 ninutes, switched to new puppies. They have faint puppy breath and I am enjoying the last few days where I am not chasing them to keep the out of trouble!
To get you up to date about the puppies so far. We have 7 puppies, 4 boys and 3 girls. All great color and easily identifiable.
